Job summary

Dubai British School Emirates Hills, part of Taaleem, is recruiting an outstanding Key Stage 2 Learning Assistant to join our British international school delivering the National Curriculum for England.

The successful candidate will work to support pupils and teaching staff in a DSIB/BSO/KHDA rated Outstanding environment, with a focus on phonics and ELL support.

Qualifications

• Minimum A-Level or equivalent (certificate MOFA attested).
• Self-aware, reflective, collaborative and proactive practitioner.
• Drive and enthusiasm to support children with an inclusive approach.
• High expectations that motivate students.
• Open and approachable, able to communicate with parents in a positive manner that builds partnership.
• Excellent communication skills and organisational skills.
• Experience or aptitude for working with and supporting students of varying abilities and ages, including those with special educational needs.
• Previous teaching or teaching assistant experience preferred.
• Key Stage 2 experience preferred but not essential.
• Plan and deliver interventions with focus on phonics and supporting English Language Learners (ELL).

Recruiting - Outstanding Key Stage 1 Learning Assistant

At DBSEH, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging and committed Key Stage 1 Learning Assistant who has a proven track record of supporting children and teaching staff. This role will be supporting in Key Stage 1, so experience is required.Experience of the National Curriculum for England in the UK; with additional experience in an international setting is considered an advantage.
