Recruiting – Biology Teacher

We are seeking an outstanding Biology teacher with the ability to teach (I)GCSE and A Level, and who can contribute to our department’s drive for inquiry-based learning, real-world biological application and high-quality practical science. We want someone who promotes critical thinking, problem solving and scientific reasoning, and who embraces flipped learning, cross-disciplinary STEM links and deep conceptual understanding to ignite curiosity and a genuine love of Biology.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is modelled on the National Curriculum for England and adapted to our own international context, leading to a challenging set of GCSE, BTEC and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. • High Quality Degree in Biology or related fields (Must be MOFA Attested).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Must be MOFA Attested).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the National Curriculum for England in the UK or UAE.
• GCSE and A Level teaching experience – Essential.
• Ability to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of outstanding results.
• A commitment to the wellbeing of all students within their care
• A willingness to make a broader contribution to school life.
• The ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced international, multicultural and demanding environment.
