Job summary

Sobha Constructions Dubai is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to support R&D projects through on-site supervision, quantity measurement, and coordination with suppliers and site teams, ensuring drawings, specifications, and safety compliance. The role emphasizes hands-on execution and collaboration.

Deliverables include evaluating new technologies, leading site trials, interpreting drawings, and maintaining documentation while coordinating with senior staff to plan daily and weekly programs

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil construction, Preferably in Research and Development. freshers with strong internships can also be considered.
• Strong soft skills: project coordination, problem solving, negotiation, teamwork and leadership potential.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with basic drafting/estimation tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on site locations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (client, contractors, officials).

Responsibilities

• Identify new technologies and evaluate their applicability.
• Collaborate with suppliers for new product development.
• Lead site trials and prepare reports for management.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with seniors for planning daily/weekly programs and resolving site issues.
