Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to conduct daily site inspections, develop and implement safety training, and monitor PPE usage across onshore projects.

The role involves investigating incidents, maintaining safety records, and supporting risk assessments and method statements for high‑risk activities, with a preference for candidates having Gulf/ADNOC experience and the ability to join immediately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Regular) or 3-year regular Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Gulf/ADNOC experience is preferred.
• Immediate joiners only.
• Clean‑shaven policy applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety protocol adherence.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety training for site personnel and emergency procedures.
• Monitor PPE usage and ensure proper availability and correct usage.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, contributing to root-cause reports.
• Maintain safety records including incident reports, inspection logs, and training attendance.
• Support the safety manager in risk assessments and method statements for high‑risk activities.
