Job summary

e.construct seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to support concrete technology efforts in our Dubai facility. You will assist in mix design development and lab trial batches, performing ASTM-based testing and data recording for R&D.

Collaborate with senior engineers to interpret results, prepare reports, and contribute to SOPs and technical documentation. Fresh graduates welcome, 0-2 years experience, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing concrete and UHPC mix designs and carry out laboratory trial batches.
• Conduct laboratory testing of concrete, cement, aggregates, admixtures and other construction materials in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Record, organize, analyze and interpret laboratory test data to support evaluation of trial mixes and materials.
• Assist in investigating abnormal test results and troubleshoot trials with senior engineers.
• Prepare technical and laboratory test reports, presentations, trial summaries and data sheets.
• Prepare, review and update laboratory SOPs, test procedures and checklists.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment per approved procedures and assist with calibration and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test data, sample identification and traceability.
• Participate in R&D meetings and provide updates on trials and results.
• Collaborate with senior R&D engineers and other technical teams to support product development.
• Engage in technical training and continuous learning programs.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in mix preparation, data recording and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing concrete and UHPC mix designs and carry out laboratory trial batches


• Conduct laboratory testing of concrete cement aggregates admixtures and other construction materials in accordance with applicable ASTM standards approved test procedures and laboratory requirements


• Record organize analyze and interpret laboratory test data to support the evaluation and optimization of trial mixes and materials


• Assist in investigating abnormal inconsistent or unexpected test results and repeat or troubleshoot trials when required under the direction of senior engineers


• Assist with preparing technical and laboratory test reports presentations trial summaries data sheets and other R&D documentation


• Assist with the preparation review and updating of laboratory SOPs test procedures checklists work instructions and technical documentation


• Operate laboratory testing and measurement equipment in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturers requirements and assist with equipment verification calibration maintenance and troubleshooting as needed


• Maintain accurate laboratory records test data sample identification and traceability while adhering to good laboratory practices


• Participate in R&D meetings and provide updates on ongoing trials testing activities observations and experimental results


• Collaborate with senior R&D engineers and other technical teams to support research product development material evaluation mix optimization and the implementation of R&D findings


• Participate in technical training and continuous learning programs to deepen knowledge of concrete technology laboratory testing materials and R&D practices


• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in mix preparation data recording calculations and reporting of concrete and material properties

Requirements
