Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and basic maintenance.
• Good knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Relevant internship, industrial training, or academic projects demonstrating practical engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational and technical issues.
• Ability to work effectively with senior engineers, production teams, maintenance personnel, and other cross-functional teams.
• Good reporting, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting or production-management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time production processes, identifying and resolving immediate operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production operations.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, reduce breakdowns, and extend equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot complex technical problems and contribute to effective corrective and preventive solutions.
• Assist in optimizing production workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Support production planning by coordinating with relevant teams to ensure production targets, schedules, and resource requirements are effectively managed.
• Monitor production progress against planned schedules and highlight deviations or potential delays to the concerned teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including production output, downtime, equipment performance, efficiency, and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records and assist in analyzing data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
