Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks a Legal Associate to join our growing team. You will work closely with Senior Lawyers on a range of UAE matters, conducting research, drafting instruments, and managing case files.

Ideal candidates hold a Law degree with 3+ years UAE experience, excellent English, and strong drafting, research, and client-facing skills. The role offers growth opportunities within a professional UAE-focused firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law / LLB required.
  • Minimum 3 years of UAE legal experience.
  • Experience in a UAE law firm or legal consultancy preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; strong drafting and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on UAE laws, regulations, procedures, and case law.
  • Draft, review, and revise POAs, contracts, notices, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Review case files, evidence, and relevant materials; prepare summaries and reports.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties; communicate case requirements.
  • Coordinate client meetings and maintain confidential legal files.
  • Monitor hearings, deadlines, and procedural requirements; assist Senior Lawyers.

About the Company

We are an established legal consultancy firm specializing in UAE law, committed to providing professional legal services, practical solutions, and high-quality client support.

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Associate to join our growing legal team and work closely with our Senior Lawyers on a range of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research on UAE laws, regulations, procedures, and case law.
  • Analyze legal issues and prepare legal research, case summaries, memoranda, and reports.
  • Draft, review, and revise Power of Attorneys (POAs), contracts, agreements, legal notices, pleadings, submissions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Review case files, evidence, supporting documents, and relevant legal materials.
  • Prepare case chronologies, legal summaries, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor hearings, deadlines, submissions, and procedural requirements.
  • Attend hearings and follow up on assigned cases and legal proceedings, as required.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case requirements, documentation, and procedural matters.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, consultations, and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential legal files and records.
  • Work closely with Senior Lawyers and provide regular updates on assigned matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law / LLB – Required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience in the UAE – Required
  • Previous experience in a UAE law firm or legal consultancy is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE laws, legal procedures, and court processes.
  • Practical experience in preparing POAs, agreements, contracts, legal notices, and other legal documents.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent legal drafting and document review abilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant legal research/document management systems.
  • UAE legal qualifications, certifications, or relevant professional experience will be an advantage.
