Emirates NBD Bank is seeking a Software Engineer to develop high-quality applications and design scalable, testable code. You will build secure RESTful APIs and microservices, work with SQL databases, and containerize apps with Docker for deployment on Kubernetes or cloud platforms.

The role focuses on Java development with Spring Boot/MVC or Hibernate, testing with JUnit/Mockito, and collaboration in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver robust software solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-2 years’ experience development with programming languages.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• SQL database or relational database skills.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and teamwork in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop quality software and web applications.
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
• Design highly scalable, testable code.
• Discover and fix programming bugs.
• Write efficient, scalable, and well-designed code using core Java and enterprise frameworks.
• Design and build secure RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and execute code reviews.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases or caching layers (Redis).
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them via Kubernetes or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
