Job summary

Emirates Islamic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in UAEN to design, develop, and deliver scalable applications using modern tech like Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and Kafka. You will work on distributed services with CI/CD and API gateway integrations, ensuring secure, well-documented code and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science or Engineering with minimum 5 years of development and design experience.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of containerization, cloud design patterns, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver high-quality applications within scope, cost, and timeline.
• Analyze business and functional requirements.
• Size development effort based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Design data models and create program structure.
• Design code and debug applications in various software languages.
• Apply best practices to write secure, clean, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve software quality.
• Maintain system documentation and ensure procedures are followed.
