Job summary

Independent Food Company, a UAE-based hospitality group, seeks a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Creative team. You will craft food-related visuals across digital and print, under guidance from senior designers, tailoring content for Salt, Shalwa, Kumo, Parker’s, Somewhere and Public brands.

The role emphasizes packaging visuals, brand consistency, and timely delivery, with exposure to multiple formats and platforms to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in graphic design (internships included).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• A portfolio showing food, hospitality, retail or packaging work (a bonus, not essential).
• Good eye for detail, layout and typography.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the creative process, from understanding project requirements to producing high-quality graphics.
• Assist in shaping the visual identity of product packaging and retail pop-ups, ensuring a consistent brand presence.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create and adapt professional design assets.
• Turn marketing and production briefs into compelling visuals across digital and print platforms.
• Prepare and adapt design materials for multiple formats while following brand guidelines closely.
• Collaborate with the Creative team, contributing fresh ideas to improve the look and feel of all brand touchpoints.
• Take on feedback and revisions positively and deliver work on time.
