Job summary

Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality group with concepts like SALT, Shalwa, Kumo, Parker’s, Somewhere and Public. They seek a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Creative team and produce food-related visuals across digital and print, under guidance from senior designers.

You will work on brand visuals for packaging and retail pop-ups, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and delivering on time. A portfolio in food/hospitality is preferred, with 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in graphic design (internships included).
• A portfolio showing food, hospitality, retail or packaging work (a bonus, not essential).
• Good eye for detail, layout and typography.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the creative process, from understanding project requirements to producing high-quality graphics.
• Assist in shaping the visual identity of product packaging and retail pop-ups, ensuring a consistent brand presence.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create and adapt professional design assets.
• Turn marketing and production briefs into compelling visuals across digital and print platforms.
• Prepare and adapt design materials for multiple formats while following brand guidelines closely.
• Collaborate with the Creative team, contributing fresh ideas to improve the look and feel of all brand touchpoints.
• Take on feedback and revisions positively and deliver work on time.
