Job summary

Azizi Development UAE is looking for a Junior Engineer - Fire and Life Safety to support the Senior Engineer in fire safety design and compliance across major projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in the Design 360 Studio, focusing on innovative real estate assets like Burj Azizi and Azizi Venice.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, NFPA certification, and 3-5 years of relevant experience, ensuring safety standards in a competitive and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant fire and life safety engineering experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, UAE Fire Code, and related standards (NFPA 13, 14, 72, 92, etc.).
• Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional institute is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal project teams by providing fire safety technical support across all project phases.
• Review architectural layouts for compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire Code, and other applicable standards.
• Evaluate design drawings, contractor proposals, and technical reports, providing safety recommendations.
