Key Responsibilities

• Lead the in-house fire and life safety specialty within Design 360 Studio and provide technical leadership across projects
• Proactively engage with internal project teams to identify support needs and deliver timely fire and life safety guidance
• Attend and contribute independently to coordination meetings and workshops with internal teams, authorities, and external stakeholders
• Review architectural layouts to ensure compliance with applicable fire and life safety codes including NFPA and UAE Fire Code
• Review drawings, specifications, presentations, and technical submissions, providing clear fire and life safety comments and recommendations
• Review, monitor, and technically challenge fire strategies and solutions proposed by external fire consultants where required
• Develop and maintain fire and life safety design approaches aligned with evidence-based fire safety engineering and best practices
• Support authority approvals and compliance processes related to fire and life safety requirements
• Lead, mentor, and manage a small specialist team with potential for future expansion
• Provide technical input to multidisciplinary coordination across architecture, structures, MEP, landscape, interiors, and supervision teams

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Strong experience in fire and life safety engineering within real estate or large‑scale construction projects
• Proven knowledge of international and local fire codes including NFPA and UAE Fire Code
• Experience reviewing and coordinating complex high‑rise and mixed‑use developments
• Ability to provide independent technical judgment and challenge consultant proposals where necessary
• Leadership capability with experience guiding and mentoring technical team members
• Strong communication skills for engagement with authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders
