Job summary

Hiba Electromechanical Contracting LLC in Ajman invites a junior technician to join our fire protection team. You will assist in installation and maintenance of fire fighting and fire alarm systems on site, support testing and commissioning, and help prepare service reports.

Ideal candidates have ITI/ Diploma in Electrical or Electronics, up to 2 years of experience, and a willingness to work at project sites across the UAE. UAE driving license is a plus and immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience in fire alarm systems, ELV, or MEP works.
• Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in installation and maintenance of fire fighting systems
• Support inspection and servicing of Fire pumps, Sprinkler systems, Hose reel systems
• Help in testing and commissioning of fire fighting equipment
• Carry tools, materials and equipment to work locations safely
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Attend preventive and corrective maintenance works
• Assist in preparing service reports and maintenance checklists
• Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers for daily tasks
• Assist senior technicians in installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Support testing and commissioning of Fire alarm control panels
• Smoke detectors, Heat detectors, Manual call points, Sounders and hooters
• Emergency lighting systems
• Help in cable laying conduit works and device fixing
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspection works
• Assist in fault finding and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas properly
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Prepare basic service and maintenance reports
• Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers during project execution
