Job summary

EFS Facilities Services Group (EFS) is seeking a hands-on Fire Alarm Technician to support maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems across UAE operations.

This frontline, site-based role is designed for technicians with practical experience in fire alarm systems and facility environments, able to manage preventive and corrective tasks and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Experience with addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Good troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and CAFM / CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, and fault rectification of fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and replace defective components to ensure proper system functionality.
• Support cause‑and‑effect testing and verify interfaces with firefighting, emergency lighting, BMS, elevators, access control, and related systems.
• Maintain service reports, inspection checklists, test certificates, and CAFM updates.
• Follow UAE Civil Defense requirements, NFPA standards, company HSE procedures, PPE requirements, and safe working practices.

At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a hands‑on Fire Alarm Technician to support the maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems across our UAE operations. Role Overview

The Fire Alarm Technician will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, control panels, and related life safety equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, safe work practices, and the ability to support emergency breakdowns and routine maintenance activities.
