Job summary

EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is seeking a talented Junior Design Architect to support development of innovative architectural concepts, presentations, and design solutions across various projects in Dubai.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, InDesign, and AutoCAD. UAE regulations knowledge is preferred, and a strong portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant architectural design experience.
• Experience in Dubai/UAE preferred.
• Strong conceptual design, space planning and visual presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, InDesign, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp and D5 Render is an advantage.
• Understanding of UAE building regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts, design narratives, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Prepare concept drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and façade studies.
• Support development of schematic and detailed design packages.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, renderings, diagrams, and presentation boards.
• Conduct project research, site analysis, and design studies.
• Coordinate with senior architects, interior designers, engineers, and other project team members.
• Incorporate client and authority comments into design revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements and UAE regulations.
• Maintain organized project drawings, design files, and documentation.
• Assist with client presentations and design review meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts, design narratives, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Prepare concept drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and façade studies.
• Support the development of schematic and detailed design packages.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, renderings, diagrams, and presentation boards.
• Conduct project research, site analysis, and design studies.
• Coordinate with senior architects, interior designers, engineers, and other project team members.
• Incorporate internal, client, and authority comments into design revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, applicable building codes, and UAE authority regulations.
• Maintain organized project drawings, design files, and documentation.
• Assist with client presentations and design review meetings when required.
