Job summary

Sobha Group is seeking a Contracts Engineer to manage the contractual aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. The role involves reviewing contracts to identify risks, preparing documentation, and ensuring that obligations are fulfilled by all parties.

The candidate will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to address contractual issues, mitigate disputes, and support on claims.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracting companies as Contract administrator/engineer/QS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of project-based insurances and Bank Guarantees.
• 2–3 years of experience in contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts identifying risks and requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of all contractual agreements and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables.
• Provide guidance to project teams on contractual matters and address issues.
• Collect and organize records from relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Assess responses to claims from suppliers/subcontractors.
