Job summary

EDGE, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Junior Configuration Officer to support Halcon project teams with configuration requirements, document controls, and data management. The role emphasizes maintaining data quality, security of the DMS, and clear documentation governance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in configuration management or document control in regulated sectors, with a technical diploma or degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration Management and/or Document Control in a Junior Officer, Configuration Assistant, or similar role.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Engineering, or other highly regulated industries is preferred, with at least 2 years in Aerospace or Defence being advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in configuration management activities, including product item configuration, baselining, and change control processes.
• Maintain the Configuration Management database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with company procedures.
• Manage document control activities, including the distribution of controlled documents, maintenance of PDI/DDI records, and preparation of data packs.
• Conduct configuration audits and reporting to verify data completeness, monitor configuration status, and support CM governance and compliance.
