Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• UAE VAT regulations knowledge will be favored.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable including supplier payments and customer collections.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Prepare expense reports, account statements and basic financial reports.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and coordinate with suppliers on pending balances.
• Manage petty cash transactions and maintain expense records.
• Assist in payroll and employee expense documentation as required.
• Support VAT-related documentation and ensure UAE accounting compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal departments on accounting matters.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
