Job summary

Henkel Dubai is seeking a Junior Accountant and Tax professional to manage General Accounting, support monthly closings for GCC entities, and drive IFRS compliance across the region.

You will improve processes, support audits, and collaborate on cross‑team projects including balance sheet reviews, cash flow forecasting, and tax workstreams. The role requires a CPA or master’s in accounting and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and bilingual English/Arabic capabilities.

Qualifications

• CPA or master's degree in accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; SAP experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English and Arabic fluency.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office applications.

In this role you will support our corporate functions by managing General Accounting processes, improving and simplifying accounting procedures, and ensuring compliance with corporate and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage General Accounting (GA) processes, including monthly closing and reporting for Henkel legal entities in GCC.
• Seek opportunities to improve, simplify and automate accounting processes.
• Provide requested information and analysis to Henkel's external and internal audit teams.
• Ensure compliance with Henkel Corporate Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Support business units and perform technical accounting research.
• Manage GA projects and support regional and global cross‑team projects, such as Balance Sheet Review, Cash Flow Forecast, financial statements, acquisitions, divestments, and tax projects.

Qualifications

• CPA or a master's degree in business/accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and master new systems and processes, resolve issues, and lead projects.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and verification; experience with SAP a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of management and global colleagues.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
