GAC Sharjah is seeking a Junior Accountant to be based in Hamriyah Free zone. The role focuses on receivables, payables, and credit control to ensure accurate, timely financial activities in compliance with local regulations.

You should be a commerce graduate with accounting or finance knowledge and at least 1 year of UAE experience. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required, with a readiness to learn new software.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in UAE.
• Graduate in Commerce with accounting/finance knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.

• Handle receivables, payables and credit control to ensure accurate, timely financial activities.

Job Description

The Junior Accountant performs critical functions receivables, payables and credit control - to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial activities through effective accounting and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

Job requirements

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce, University degree with accounting / finance knowledge.

Computer knowledge: Proficient with MS Office package, especially Excel and the ability to learn new software quickly.

Experience: 1+ years’ experience in finance and accounts, ideally within UAE. Graduates joining the workforce may be considered, upon assessment of their qualifications, personality, and aptitude for the job. Necessary plans should be in place to develop their skills and competencies.
