NADIA in Dubai is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support daily accounting tasks and ensure accuracy of financial records under the supervision of the Senior Manager.

You will assist with accounts payable and receivable, GL entries, VAT calculations, and month-end close while collaborating with internal departments. A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting and 1–3 years of experience are required, with strong English and Excel skills.

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in accounting and taxation.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Assist with VAT calculations, tax documentation, and other tax-related activities.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and assist the Account and Tax Senior Manager with additional accounting tasks as required.
