Job summary

Lexify in Dubai is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant with a degree in Accounting or Finance. You will join a dynamic, international group and work with senior team members and external advisors.

You'll handle daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and tax compliance, invoicing, and support month-end closings. This role offers mentorship and a clear career path in a growing fintech-focused company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2 years of accounting, audit or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Zoho Books.
• English C1 level mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with UAE VAT returns and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Prepare client invoices and monitor collections.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance and has experience in bookkeeping and accounting.

You will work closely with our senior team and external advisors as part of a dynamic and growing international group.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA/CMA (ongoing) is a plus
• 2 years of experience in accounting, audit or bookkeeping
• Solid understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books)
• English C1 level, written and spoken (mandatory)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in fintech and digital assets is an advantage
