Job summary

YO AI Labs in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates seeks a Jr Mechanical Draughtsman with 3+ years of experience in water treatment to produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and P&ID schematics for STP projects. You will coordinate with civil, structural, and process teams and ensure compliance with project standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD with knowledge of Revit or BIM tools is a plus; read and interpret drawings and specifications, supporting site teams during handover.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience working as a mechanical or MEP draughtsman in the water treatment industry.
• Must be currently working in the water treatment industry.
• Must have skills in AutoCAD, P&ID, GA and Isometric drawing.
• Must have experience working on STP (sewage treatment plant) projects within the water treatment industry.
• Must be familiar with international standards such as ASME, NFPA or IEC

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on engineering inputs.
• Interpret and incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups from engineers.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and process teams to ensure clash-free designs.
• Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates as needed.
