Job summary

Oasis Investment Company (Al Shirawi Group) seeks a Joinery Site Supervisor in Dubai to review shop drawings, coordinate with architects and MEP teams, and supervise installation of doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and cabinetry.

You will take precise site measurements, coordinate with the factory for production and delivery, inspect materials, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret joinery shop drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and approved materials.
• Coordinate joinery works with architects, consultants, MEP contractors, and other site teams.
• Supervise the installation of doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall paneling, reception counters, cabinetry, and other bespoke joinery works.
• Take site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with the factory/workshop regarding production, material requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Inspect delivered joinery materials and ensure they comply with approved samples and specifications.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure work is completed within the project schedule.
• Identify site issues, dimensional conflicts, and discrepancies and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress reports, inspection requests, and related documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and ensure comments are properly addressed.
• Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, alignment, levels, and installation tolerances.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and site procedures.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover of joinery works.
• Maintain effective communication between site, design, procurement, production, and project management teams.
