Job summary

Gargash Group Technology seeks an experienced Atlassian Jira/Confluence administrator to own and govern the Jira estate across the group. You will configure projects, automate workflows, manage apps, and provide Level 2 support to ensure platform stability and user satisfaction.

You will partner with stakeholders across procurement, HR, marketing, and after-sales to consolidate workflows and deliver real business value on a unified Jira instance. UAE/GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience administering Atlassian Jira and Confluence in a multi-team or multi-business-unit environment.
Strong experience in Jira project configuration, workflow design, permission schemes, automation, and JQL.
Experience with Jira Service Management and configuring service projects for business teams.
Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration, SSO/SCIM and marketplace app governance.
Proven track record providing Level 2 application support with clear communication.
Experience with reporting/analytics layers (Power BI/Tableau) connected to Jira data.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day administration of the Jira and Confluence estate, including user provisioning and project configuration.
Maintain platform hygiene by retiring unused projects and consolidating workflows.
Design and maintain Jira automation rules to reduce manual effort and enforce process discipline.
Manage marketplace apps, licensing, upgrades, and decommissioning of add-ons.
Maintain Jira integration with Power BI or other reporting layers and ensure secure data access.
Coordinate Atlassian product upgrades and cloud-migration activity per governance standards.
Provide Level 2 support, triage tickets, and deliver end-user training and self-service resources.
