Job summary

Rigid Machinery General Transport LLC SPC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a skilled Backhoe Loader Operator to support construction, roadworks, and utility projects. You will operate the machine safely, perform inspections, and maintain equipment records on site.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of backhoe experience, a UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is preferred to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience operating a backhoe loader (JCB or equivalent).
• Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, roadworks, or utility projects.
• Understanding of equipment maintenance and safe operating practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under varying weather conditions.
• Basic communication in English (Arabic a plus).
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the backhoe loader for excavation, trenching, loading, backfilling, grading, and material handling.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects.
• Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the equipment.
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and complete tasks within project deadlines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safe operation around personnel, utilities, and other equipment on site.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and report fuel consumption or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with other site-related duties as required.
