Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices for banking platforms. You will build secure RESTful APIs, leverage OpenAPI, and deploy on Azure with AKS, App Services and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience with Spring Boot microservices.
Proven experience delivering enterprise banking/fintech solutions.
Strong API design and security capabilities (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT).
Experience with cloud services on Azure and container platforms.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes/docker and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build secure, scalable banking applications for digital, mobile, and internet banking channels.
Develop RESTful APIs and API lifecycles with OpenAPI specifications and governance.
Deploy and support apps on Azure cloud-native services and containers.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Implement API security, encryption, and secure coding practices.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and support release management.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
