Job summary

Epergne Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to design and implement backend services in a microservices architecture. You will work with Orkes/Netflix Conductor to orchestrate workflows and integrate with RESTful APIs.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, strong Java skills (8+), Spring Boot, Docker/Kubernetes, and experience with CI/CD and messaging systems. Join a collaborative cross-functional team in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience (Java 8+) with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Orkes Conductor or Netflix Conductor for workflow orchestration.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring/logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize workflow orchestration using Orkes or Netflix Conductor.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and system tests.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance or reliability issues.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for Java microservices and workflows.
• Set up alerts, dashboards, and perform root cause analysis for workflow failures.
• Work with DevOps/SRE for deployment, scaling, and system stability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability.
