Sunset Hospitality Group’s ISOLA Abu Dhabi is looking for a hands-on Junior Sous Chef to join the opening team in a busy Italian restaurant. You will support the Head Chef, supervise sections and ensure mise en place, quality and service readiness, while collaborating with other sections to deliver authentic Italian dishes.

Experience in Italian restaurants and pre-opening settings is highly valued, as is strong organization and team leadership in a UAE/GCC context.

Qualifications

• Experience as Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong experience in Italian restaurants or Italian à la carte kitchens.
• Knowledge of pasta, risotto, Italian sauces, and meat/seafood prep.
• Experience in a busy restaurant with consistent quality.
• Excellent organisation, communication and team supervision skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise sections, ensure mise en place and service readiness.
• Prepare Italian dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Coordinate with sections for smooth service.
• Train junior chefs in techniques and procedures.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, portion control and waste reduction.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and storage standards.
• Support pre-opening preparations and kitchen setup.
