ALA BALY RESTAURANT CAFE L.L.C in Dubai is seeking an experienced Italian Cuisine Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has strong practical Italian cooking skills, including pizza dough handling, pasta, sauces, and other Italian dishes.

Arabic cuisine experience is a plus. You will prepare and cook according to recipes, monitor portions and costs, maintain hygiene, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in Italian cuisine within a restaurant environment.
• Practical knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, fermentation, and baking.
• Experience preparing pasta, sauces, and other Italian dishes.
• Good understanding of food safety, portion control, inventory management, and food cost.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
• Experience in Arabic cuisine is an advantage.
• Nationality is not a requirement; practical experience and professional skills are the main criteria.
• Must be willing to relocate from Egypt to Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Italian dishes, including pizza, pasta, sauces, and other menu items according to approved recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare pizza dough, manage fermentation, and ensure consistency in dough quality, toppings, baking, and presentation.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Follow standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
• Monitor ingredient usage, food waste, stock levels, and food costs.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and proper food storage procedures.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely order preparation.
• Assist with menu development, recipe standardization, and quality improvement.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional standards throughout the kitchen.
