Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our UAE team. The role focuses on managing, securing, and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure and cloud services, including Office 365, Exchange, and on-premise servers, while aligning with our global standards.

You will set up and maintain networks, troubleshoot issues, document configurations, and support the help desk.

Qualifications

• Experience in administering Office 365.
• Experience in administering Microsoft Skype for Business.
• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Information Technology.
• MCSE certification or similar.
• Minimum 5 years experience in system administration.
• Expert-level proficiency in a minimum of two operating systems.
• Familiarity with SQL and database operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure awareness of and compliance with all policies, procedures, and work practices as they relate to the role.
• Ensure tasks are carried out professionally, effectively, and efficiently and within company standards, policies and guidelines.
• Ensure all decisions are not biased and align with the Companys Delegation of Authority.
• Comply with all H&S policies and procedures.
• Oversee the everyday operations of the companys computer and network systems.
• Handle set-up and installation of systems, as well as troubleshooting, evaluation of systems performance and maintenance.
• Packaging of software applications and SOE image administration & deployment.
• Monitoring and reporting of system availability, performance and security.
• Documenting procedures, system configuration & issue resolution information.
• Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system including hardware, system software and applications.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking and system issues when they arise.
• Monitoring system performance to ensure smooth and secure operation.
• Interface directly with the help desk and IT support technicians to resolve tickets and document issues.
• Perform daily system monitoring and backup procedures to ensure data security and integrity of resources and logs.
• Participate in required compliance and QA activities.
