Job summary

Mira Developments in Dubai seeks a skilled System Administrator to manage and troubleshoot the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure day-to-day operations across servers, networks, and user accounts.

You will install and monitor Windows and Linux systems, manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365, handle backups and disaster recovery, apply patches, and maintain IT documentation; certifications are a plus. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and networking.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with backup, monitoring, cybersecurity, and endpoint-management solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or VMware are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows/Linux servers and IT systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and access controls.
• Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster-recovery activities.
• Manage hardware, software, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Apply security patches, updates, antivirus protection, and system hardening.
• Maintain IT documentation, configurations, and asset records.
• Respond to help-desk escalations and provide technical support to users.
