CITY UNIVERSITY AJMAN is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join our campus IT team in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure, resolving hardware and software issues, and supporting users across departments.

The candidate will manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and network services, while documenting problems and solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, CE or related discipline.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in enterprise IT support, systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a similar technical role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting users and troubleshooting complex IT issues across hardware, software, operating systems, servers, networks, and enterprise applications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and user/group permissions.
• Practical knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, patch management, and print management.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WLAN, VLANs, switching, IP addressing, and enterprise networking.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace or similar enterprise productivity platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, web technologies, application integration, Git/version control, Linux, containers, or automation platforms is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge or exposure to AI technologies and AI-enabled applications is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Linux, cloud computing, cybersecurity, virtualization, or related technologies will be an advantage.
