Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Dubai seeks an IT Operations Support Graduate Engineer to deliver IT services including operations support, system maintenance, and the administration of customer environments. This role is exclusively open to UAE Nationals (Emiratis), in line with our Emiratisation commitment.

As part of a dedicated customer team, you will be embedded at customer premises or working remotely in direct support of the customer wherever applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Daily attendance from the office located in Academic City in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT systems under third-party supervision.
• Execute daily operational tasks, including system health checks and routine maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and take remedial actions.
• Resolve customer trouble tickets and address complaints via email.
• Handle and fulfill service requests submitted by end users.
• Manage dimensioning and capacity planning, and contribute to product selection processes.
• Assess system impacts and produce clear, accurate technical documentation.
• Oversee the preparation and verification of test results, including the development of test simulators and automation tools.
• Execute IT system tests and define appropriate test strategies.
• Analyze test results, align findings with the client, and communicate critical metrics to relevant stakeholders.

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Operations Support Graduate Engineer to deliver IT services encompassing operations support, system maintenance, and the administration of customer environments. This role is exclusively open to UAE Nationals (Emiratis), in line with our commitment to supporting national talent development and Emiratisation.

As part of a dedicated customer team, you will be embedded at customer premises or working remotely in direct support of the customer wherever applicable. The role centers on the support and maintenance of customer products and systems, including their sizing and optimization. You will be responsible for validating and implementing change requests, identifying anomalies against system specifications, and performing initial diagnosis of potential root causes.

What You Will Do

• Support and maintain IT systems under third-party supervision.
• Execute daily operational tasks, including system health checks and routine maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance, respond to alerts raised by monitoring teams, and take the necessary remedial actions.
• Resolve customer trouble tickets and address complaints received via email.
