Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Specialist in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance to strengthen our risk-aware IT control environment within UAE operations. You will lead documentation, organise stakeholder workshops, and drive continuous improvement across Jira, Planview and Excel.

You will also guide a small team, ensure adherence to policies, and push for changes that raise IT governance standards while delivering reliable services to business partners.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of IT department experience with at least 1 year of people management experience.
• Experience inspecting work and maintaining established quality control standards.
• Train others in proper and safe work procedures.
• Perform specialised IT tasks in installation, maintenance, and repair of information technology and telecommunication systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, communications equipment, operating systems, and PCs.

Responsibilities

• Review, iterate, build and maintain simple and easy to understand functional and technical documents, communications or policies.
• Organise critical meetings, stakeholder workshops and issue resolution to close queries successfully.
• Support with mini projects and initiatives as agreed with squad/team lead.
• Maintain, produce and improve key reporting artefacts across Jira, Excel, Planview and ADCB systems.
• Identify improvements and build out new processes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures to meet required standards of service.
• Manage and motivate the team to contribute to change initiatives, programmes and projects.
