Job summary

Noorka Logistics in Dubai is seeking a technically skilled IT Engineer to support its technology infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations. You will maintain computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and user access while addressing technical issues across the organization.

Responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, configuring devices, supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365, and ensuring security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
• Prior IT Engineer/IT Support Engineer or Network Engineer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and network environment.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support to employees and day-to-day IT requests.
• Configure and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches and network devices.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email accounts and credentials.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor system performance and preempt potential issues.
• Perform software updates, security patches, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset registers, licenses, and technical documentation.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic disaster recovery.
• Implement IT security and cybersecurity practices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet problems.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for specialized support.
• Document problems and solutions, maintenance activities, and requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, and user account administration.
• Knowledge of IT security, antivirus solutions, system updates, and data backup procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize technical issues and meet support requirements.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.
