You will manage Microsoft 365, ERP (Dynamics 365 Business Central), FortiGate firewalls, UniFi networking, VMware/Proxmox, and CCTV systems, ensuring reliable operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on IT support/administration experience, preferably multi-site.
• Experience in UAE is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services and Entra ID for users and groups.
• Provide first-line ERP support for Dynamics 365 Business Central users.
• Configure FortiGate firewall rules, VPNs, and security logging.
• Manage UniFi switches, access points, and Wi-Fi planning.
• Administer VMware ESXi and Proxmox virtualization environments.
• Support Windows Server roles and backup/restore operations.

We are seeking a hands-on IT Assistant to support the day-to-day IT operations of our group of companies. The role combines end-user support with infrastructure, network, and security administration across Microsoft 365, ERP, firewall, network, virtualization, and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate is technically versatile, service-oriented, and able to work independently across multiple sites.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services — Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Manage user lifecycle: account creation, licensing, group and distribution list management, onboarding and offboarding
• Support MFA, conditional access, mailbox permissions, shared mailboxes, and mail flow troubleshooting
• Assist with Intune device enrolment, compliance policies, and application deployment

ERP Support – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Provide first-line support to Finance, Accounts, and Operations users
• Manage user access, roles, and permission sets
• Coordinate with the ERP implementation partner on issues, change requests, and enhancements
• Support reporting, data uploads, and integration-related queries

Network & Security

• Administer FortiGate firewalls — policies, NAT rules, VPN (IPSec/SSL), web filtering, and log review
• Configure and maintain UniFi network infrastructure — switches, access points, controllers, and Wi-Fi planning
• Hands-on Layer 2 / Layer 3 experience: VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, static/dynamic routing, DHCP, DNS
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain network documentation

Virtualization & Servers

• Manage and maintain virtual environments on VMware ESXi and Proxmox
• Provision, patch, monitor, and back up virtual machines
• Support Windows Server roles (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, file services) and backup/restore operations

CCTV & Physical Security Systems

• Administer IP CCTV systems — NVR/DVR configuration, camera commissioning, storage and retention management
• Manage user access, remote viewing, footage retrieval requests, and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with vendors for installations, expansions, and fault rectification

Daily IT Support

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to office employees for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
• Manage the IT helpdesk queue, log and track tickets, and elevate as required
• Perform device imaging, software installation, patching, and antivirus/endpoint protection management
• Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing records, and system documentation
• Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, and IT requirements for office events
• Assist with IT procurement, vendor coordination, and warranty claims

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on IT support/administration experience, preferably in a multi-company or multi-site environment
• Prior experience in the UAE is an advantage

Technical Skills (Essential)

• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central user and access support
• FortiGate firewall configuration and troubleshooting
• UniFi network equipment deployment and management
• Solid L2/L3 networking fundamentals — VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
• VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization administration
• IP CCTV / NVR systems administration
• Windows Server and Windows 10/11 desktop support

Desirable

• Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator, NSE 4 (Fortinet), CCNA, VMware VCP, or UniFi UBWA
• PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk administration
• Exposure to macOS, Android, and iOS device management
• Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or equivalent)

• Good communication skills in English; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Customer-service mindset with a professional approach
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel between group office locations when required
