Job summary

Natixis in Dubai seeks a Mid-Level Middle Office Specialist to support Islamic Finance & Global Markets. You will bridge Global Market Sales and Structuring with middle/back-office functions, ensuring compliant, timely handling of Sharia-compliant transactions.

The role requires 6+ years in global markets operations, knowledge of Murabaha and Wa'ad, IRS, FX derivatives, and experience with Murex/Calypso. Strong English is essential; Arabic is a plus, and an automation mindset with Python/Alteryx

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Islamic Jurisprudence, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in global markets operations.
• Hands-on exposure to IRS, FX derivatives, Repo, and structured deposits.
• Working knowledge of Islamic products including Murabaha and Wa'ad.
• Proficiency with core banking/front-to-back systems (Murex/Calypso/Kondor+).
• Fluency in English; business-level Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Commodity Murabaha trades with brokers.
• Validate trade bookings for Islamic structured products and map shadow risk tickets.
• Draft and issue trade confirmations, including Designated Future Transactions (DFT).
• Control cash flow settlements and reconcile balances with audit trails.
• Perform daily cash and securities balance verification.
• Document workflows for new Sharia-compliant products.
• Liaise between structuring, Sharia auditors, and compliance officers.
• Lead system testing initiatives for new product launches.
