Job summary

Desert group investment LLC in Dubai seeks a Design Engineer to design and draft irrigation systems in CAD for landscape projects. You will create irrigation and landscape lighting drawings, specify materials, and ensure designs meet project requirements.

The role includes site supervision, preparing closeout documents, and maintaining drawings and data per company standards. You will coordinate with landscape architects and project teams to meet deadlines and support operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in irrigation systems and landscape lighting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Irrigation) from a recognized university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead large teams and coordinate efforts.
• Bold personality with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft irrigation systems in CAD and other irrigation software.
• Prepare irrigation and landscape lighting drawings and material specifications.
• Site supervision of irrigation and lighting installation to ensure conformance with drawings.
• Prepare project closeout documents (as-built drawings, O&M manuals).
• Maintain and organize drawings and related data per company systems.

Job description

Design and draft irrigation systems in CAD and other irrigation related software for new landscape projects Prepare irrigation and landscape lighting design drawings and material specifications Follow company standards and assist CAD draftsmen to produce high quality irrigation and landscape lighting drawings to meet project requirements Site Supervision of irrigation system and landscape lighting installation works by site team contractors and ensure that the works are carried out as per the design drawings and specifications Prepare Project closeout documents As Built Drawings O M Manuals etc Prepare the designs for any irrigation and landscape lighting related queries Maintain company documentations drawings and related data in accordance with company s systems and processes Explore different methods and new technologies to improve the irrigation water consumption Coordinate with Landscape Architects Consultants and Project team to achieve set deadlines Reply to all forms of communication in the given time frame Ensure EPIC remains a key focus during the entire duration of the project and product lifecycle Support your operation team as and when required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of irrigation systems and landscape lighting
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Irrigation) from a recognized and accredited University
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to lead large teams and bring them to work together
• Bold personality, strong analytical and interpersonal skills preferred
