Datamatics Technologies seeks an experienced IoT Business Consultant to drive transformation initiatives across IoT, IIoT, and Smart City programs. You will lead business-case development, coordinate with SIs and partners, and craft go-to-market strategies to fuel growth.

The role requires senior-level consulting skills, strong IT/OT understanding, and UAE-based eligibility. You will engage with executives and client teams to shape transformation roadmaps and deliver actionable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IoT consulting, digital transformation, technology advisory, or related roles.
• Proven IoT business case development and Cost Benefit Analysis experience.
• Strong consulting background with ability to lead workshops and client engagements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder relationship skills with executives.
• Experience bridging IT and OT environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with IoT, AI, ML, cloud computing, and digital transformation tech.
• Industry experience in Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Utilities, Energy, Sustainability, or related sectors.
• Experience supporting business development and pre-sales activities.
• Must reside in the UAE and be legally eligible to work.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IoT Business Consultant to lead digital transformation initiatives across IoT, Industrial IoT (IIoT), Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Energy Management, and Sustainability domains. The ideal candidate will help clients define transformation strategies, build compelling business cases, develop innovative solutions, and drive business growth through consultative engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consulting and transformation initiatives focused on IoT, IIoT, Energy Management, Sustainability, and Industry 4.0
• Develop business cases and perform Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) for digital transformation programs
• Create and present IoT solutions, use cases, and value propositions across multiple industries, particularly Smart Cities, Smart Campuses, Smart Districts, Utilities, and Manufacturing
• Build and manage relationships with System Integrators (SIs), technology partners, and other ecosystem stakeholders
• Define and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies to support business growth
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT/OT stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify opportunities and define transformation roadmaps
• Support business development activities through customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and solution demonstrations
• Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, implementation plans, and adoption roadmaps
• Facilitate ideation sessions, innovation workshops, and strategic consulting engagements

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IoT consulting, digital transformation, technology advisory, or related consulting roles
• Proven experience in IoT business case development and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
• Strong consulting experience with the ability to lead workshops, stakeholder discussions, and client engagements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with executive-level stakeholders
• Experience working with both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
• Understanding of IoT, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and digital transformation technologies
• Industry experience in Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Utilities, Energy, Sustainability, or related sectors
• Experience supporting business development and pre-sales activities
• Must currently reside in the UAE and be legally eligible to work in the UAE

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Smart Infrastructure, Connected Assets, and Smart Building solutions
• Knowledge of IoT platforms, device management, sensor integration, and Edge Computing
• Familiarity with Digital Twin, Predictive Maintenance, AI-driven Analytics, and Intelligent Operations
• Experience with Microsoft Azure IoT, AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, or similar platforms
• Understanding of industrial systems such as SCADA and Industrial Automation environments
• Experience managing technology partnerships and System Integrator ecosystems
• Exposure to ESG, sustainability, carbon reduction, or energy optimization initiatives
• Experience with proposal development, RFP responses, and solution consulting
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for IoT environments
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation projects across public sector, utilities, manufacturing, transportation, real estate, or infrastructure industries
• Relevant certifications in IoT, Smart Cities, Cloud, AI, Digital Transformation, or Industry 4.0
