Job summary

Hillroute Capital seeks an Investor Relations/Business Development professional to build and feed our UAE investor pipeline. You will originate prospects, run first meetings, and partner with our senior team to move conversations toward deep-dive discussions and commitments.

The role emphasizes a strong UAE network, crypto knowledge, and disciplined CRM activity, with on-site duties in Dubai and opportunities to grow into a senior IR position as AUM scales.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in UAE wealth management, private banking, external asset management, fund distribution, or institutional/VIP client coverage at a digital-asset exchange.
• Activatable UAE-based HNIs network.
• Crypto fluency to discuss BTC/ETH, derivatives and fund structures with sophisticated investors.
• Demonstrated pipeline discipline tracking prospects in past roles.
• Presentable and polished in front of HNW clients.
• UAE market experience required; UAE residence preferred.

About Hillroute Capital

Hillroute Capital is a regulated, multi-strategy quantitative crypto hedge fund providing institution-grade exposure to digital assets. Hillroute Fund 1 (Cayman Islands, CIMA-regulated) has traded live since October 2024, applying a flexible, risk‑managed approach to liquid digital‑asset markets for institutions, family offices and other eligible investors. Role Mission

Build and feed Hillroute’s investor pipeline in the UAE. You own the pipeline from first touch through to commitment—originating prospects, running first meetings, and partnering directly with the fund’s senior team to close at the deep‑dive stage. Success is a steady, well‑documented flow of qualified investor conversations moving every week.

Key Outcomes (First 30 Days)

• A 50‑name qualified prospect list built and logged in our CRM
• 8–10 qualified first meetings booked, with the first of them completed
• 100% CRM discipline from day one; every contact has a next step and a date

By day 90: a repeatable cadence of 8–10+ qualified first meetings per month, 4–6 prospects in deep‑dive discussions with the fund’s senior team, and an established presence at Dubai digital‑asset and investment events.

Core Responsibilities

• Origination & Outreach: Activate your own network and generate new leads through conferences, crypto events, warm referrals, private‑bank and EAM channels. Having your own network matters for this role, and you will be asked to demonstrate it during the hiring process.
• First Meetings: Present the fund independently and credibly to HNIs, family offices and wealth managers using our materials.
• Qualification: Apply our qualification bar (ticket capability, decision‑maker access, genuine allocation intent) before a prospect moves to a deep‑dive meeting.
• Deep‑Dive Preparation: Prepare full context ahead of every deep‑dive meeting; support data and document requests afterwards.
• CRM Discipline: Log every touch in HubSpot; coordinate follow‑ups with our IR operations lead.
• Market Presence: Represent Hillroute at Dubai digital‑asset and investment events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2–6 years in UAE wealth management, private banking, external asset management, fund distribution, or institutional/VIP client coverage at a digital‑asset exchange
• An activatable network of UAE‑based HNIs, family offices or wealth managers
• Crypto fluency with respect to discussing BTC/ETH, derivatives and fund structures with sophisticated investors, or a demonstrably fast learner
• Demonstrated pipeline discipline you can show how you tracked and progressed prospects in your last role
• Presentable and polished in front of HNW clients
• UAE market experience required; existing UAE residence preferred
