Job summary

Zahr Freighters in Dubai is seeking a responsible Storekeeper to manage daily stock, receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials. You will maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams, and ensure proper handling and labeling.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with experience in freight or warehouse operations, strong attention to detail, and skills in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a logistics or business diploma is a plus.
• Previous Storekeeper or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience in freight, logistics, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and store incoming goods and materials.
• Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies.
• Organize and safeguard materials in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Issue materials to authorized staff per requests.
• Prepare items for dispatch or transfer when needed.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist audits.
• Investigate shortages, excess, or discrepancies and report findings.
• Update stock information using Excel, ERP, or inventory systems.
• Keep records of goods received, issued, transfers, and returns.
• Ensure fast-moving items are accessible and properly labeled.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor of replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, finance, drivers, and warehouse staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store area.
• Follow procedures for material handling and inventory control.
• Handle sensitive or valuable materials properly.
