Zahr Freighters is looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage daily stock and storage activities in Dubai. The successful candidate will handle the receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. Good attention to detail, physical fitness, basic computer skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams are important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, materials, tools, and supplies and verify quantities against relevant documents.
• Inspect received items for visible damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations using proper storage practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Issue materials to authorized staff or departments according to approved requests.
• Prepare goods for dispatch, delivery, or internal transfer when required.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Investigate and report stock shortages, excess quantities, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Update stock information using Excel, ERP, or inventory management systems.
• Maintain proper records of goods received, goods issued, transfers, and returns.
• Ensure fast-moving and frequently required items are readily accessible.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in freight, logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and capable of handling materials safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet daily operational requirements.
