Job summary

AccorHotel in Dubai is seeking a diligent Cost Controller to oversee beverage stock, verify physical stocks, and coordinate with stores to rectify discrepancies. You will conduct surprise inventories at beverage stores and outlets beyond month-end counts.

Monitor invoicing accuracy, ensure goods are received per specs, and maintain par levels and stock issuance timing. Input price changes into POS and report daily beverage cost variances to optimize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Check beverage store stock reports and verify physical stocks.
• Conduct surprise inventory of beverage stores and non-month-end outlets.
• Ensure all invoices are stamped and signed by Receiving Clerk before Accounts Payable.
• Spot check goods received against specifications (weight, trim, count) and invoicing.
• Inspect daily quality of fruits & vegetables with Chef and receiver.
• Ensure deliveries by suppliers align with receiving schedule.
• Maintain set par levels and ensure ordering aligns with par.
• Adhere to set stock issuance times.
• Communicate major differences to contract suppliers and adjust prices to wholesale market.
• Prepare daily beverage cost report.
• Input and maintain prices in POS and update menus as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Cost Controller.
