Job summary

The Meydan Hotel is seeking a skilled F&B cost controller to manage the receiving of food and beverage items and oversee store inventories, ensuring timely feedback and accurate reporting on food cost to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities include cost calculations, invoice verification, and daily transfers of sales data to the inventory system, while maintaining inventory security and supporting decision making with management analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting.
• 2 years in similar position in a five-star hotel.
• Computer competency requiring word-processing, spreadsheet and database software knowledge and experience.
• Have relevant experiences in the Store and Receiving section in hospitality field in UAE.
• Good knowledge of Accounting and Financial Systems.

Responsibilities

• Calculates F&B costs and compares invoices to reports showing cost vs sales.
• Receives F&B items and oversees store inventories with timely feedback.
• Verifies Receiving Report and code correction.
• Daily transfer of Sales from Point-of-Sale System to Inventory System.
• Maintains security in storage of goods and checks invoices against goods ordered and received.
• Prepares recipe costs with Executive Chef and Director of F&B.
