Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking a skilled Inventory & Analytics Specialist to analyze technical inventory and supply chain data, develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to drive material availability and performance from the Abu Dhabi hub.

You will support projects from requirements through testing and implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years in inventory, supply chain, data analytics or project activities.
• Understanding of aviation inventory, stores and KPIs within aviation.
• Experience with aviation ERP/MRO inventory systems, preferably AMOS.
• Advanced Power BI and Excel skills.
• SQL/Oracle for data extraction and analysis.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and/or Python for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication.

Synopsis

Independently support projects and improvement initiatives from requirements through testing, implementation and post-implementation support. Coordinate with stakeholders, manage deliverables and drive actions to closure.

• Independently manage tasks, projects and analytical initiatives, track progress and drive actions to closure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues and follow up on deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for reporting, process and workflow automation using appropriate digital tools.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in inventory, supply chain, data analytics, business analysis or project activities, preferably in aviation industry.
• Good understanding of aviation inventory, stores, materials management and supply chain processes, including operational KPIs.
• Good understanding of aviation ERP/MRO inventory and materials management systems, preferably AMOS or a comparable aviation MRO/ERP platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of SQL/Oracle for data extraction, validation and analysis.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and/or Python for automation and data analysis would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and developing practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with proactive communication, coordination, and follow-up.
• Good PowerPoint, presentation and business communication skills for presenting analysis, project status, and recommendations.
• Proactive, assertive, self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently, own deliverables and perform under pressure.
