Job summary

GOTION HIGH-TECH seeks a logistics professional to manage international BESS project deliveries, covering freight forwarding, ocean shipping, warehousing, and cost control. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
• 3+ years of international logistics, overseas warehousing, or logistics procurement experience.
• Renewable energy, BESS, solar, wind, or large engineering project exposure preferred.
• Familiar with project cargo, oversized equipment, dangerous goods, multimodal transport, and overseas warehousing.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; regional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel or be based in the region.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage international logistics providers for freight forwarding, ocean shipping, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
• Develop project-specific logistics solutions balancing schedule, cost, and risk.
• Support supplier bidding, contracting, and performance management.
• Identify logistics risks (delays, congestion, regulatory changes) and develop contingency plans.
• Provide logistics cost estimates during bidding and optimize costs during execution.
• Manage overseas warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, aging stock, inbound/outbound activities, and abnormal shipments.
• Maintain logistics and inventory KPIs and support regular operational reporting.

This role supports international BESS project delivery through logistics supplier management, transportation planning, overseas warehousing, cost control, and delivery risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage international logistics providers covering freight forwarding, ocean shipping, breakbulk/project cargo, customs clearance, warehousing, and final-mile delivery.
• Develop project-specific logistics solutions balancing delivery schedule, cost, and operational risk.
• Support supplier bidding, commercial negotiations, contracting, and performance management.
• Identify logistics risks including vessel delays, port congestion, customs issues, regulatory changes, and transportation constraints, and develop contingency plans.
• Provide logistics cost estimates during project bidding and continuously optimize logistics costs during execution.
• Manage overseas warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, aging stock, inbound/outbound activities, and abnormal shipments.
• Maintain logistics and inventory KPIs and support regular operational reporting.
