Are you entering your final year in Civil Engineering looking to gain hands-on experience in road design and engineering? AECOM is offering a long-term internship through our Undergraduate Program with the Highways role providing practical training exposure to industry-leading projects and the opportunity for a full-time Graduate position after graduation.

About the Role
As an Undergraduate Highways Engineer, you will collaborate with industry experts, contribute to impactful road design projects, and develop proficiency in essential design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. This role is ideal for ambitious students seeking to build a strong foundation for a career in highways and transportation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in scope of work preparation and project design criteria.
  • Gain experience in road design alignment, cross-sections, and pavement design.
  • Develop 3D modelling and cross-section designs using industry software.
  • Support technical report writing and project documentation.
  • Stay updated on engineering standards and local guidelines.
