Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team on newly awarded projects across hospitality, residential and infrastructure sectors. You will perform post‑contract commercial administration including re‑measurement, interim and final account payment assessments, and monthly cost reports.

You will also handle variations, contractor claims, provisional sums, insurances and bonds management, and attend design and commercial

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 2 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in hospitality, residential, buildings or infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Post Contract Commercial Administration including re-measurement, interim and final account payment assessments.
• Monthly Cost Reports, variations, and contractor claims.
• Attend design and commercial meetings and manage Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE. Your role Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university. Min 2 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management. Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.. Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 2 years. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills
